Multifunction Process Calibrator

The APSL-C216, APSL-C256 and APSL-C226 Multifunction Process Calibrators are high-accuracy handheld signal measurement/output instruments that can simultaneously measure and output voltage, current, resistance, frequency, thermocouple and RTD industrial process signals. Fitted with an external high-accuracy intelligent pressure module, they can calibrate pressure transmitters in the field.

They can replace current sources, voltage sources, resistance boxes, electronic potentiometers, frequency meters and other measurement/calibration instruments. They are mainly used for on-site industrial signal calibration and fault diagnosis, and are also suitable for signal measurement and calibration in the chemical and defense industries and in research institutes and laboratories.

Highlights: powerful protection—IP67 waterproof rating with automatic protection against accidental 220 V on any signal terminal; measure/output of voltage, current, frequency and resistance, with current output supporting both active and passive modes; simulation of RTDs and thermocouples as temperature; two-wire transmitter simulation; two mutually isolated channels supporting simultaneous measurement and output; manual step, automatic step, 0–100% step and ramp output; white LED backlight with manual adjustment and auto power-off for field use; a DC 24 V loop supply for on-site commissioning; unique automatic recognition of 3-wire and 4-wire connections; standard AAA batteries for easy replacement; automatic and manual cold-junction compensation for thermocouple measurement and output; an optional APSL high-accuracy intelligent pressure module for pressure measurement; and the ability to add new thermocouple and RTD types on request.
