Product Overview

The APSL503 Intelligent Pressure Controller (also called an Automatic Standard Pressure Generator) is a patented product available in an air-pressure (pneumatic) version and an ultra-high-pressure (hydraulic) version.

The air-pressure version consists of a controller main unit and a device-under-test mounting seat holding up to three gauges (the middle port takes only clean liquid-free gauges, the left and right ports accept liquid-filled gauges via a patented gas-liquid separator); its working medium is air with a built-in pressure module of (-100 ~ 7000) kPa, an external gas source of +7000 kPa / -100 kPa, 6-digit pressure resolution, gauge/absolute pressure measurement, accuracy Class 0.01 / 0.02 / 0.05, control stability 3 digits, target-pressure hold 2 min, control response ≤30 s, auto-stabilization time 15 s (adjustable 10-240 s, full 9-point transmitter run ≈4 min), vacuum below -100 kPa and micro-pressure verification of ±500 Pa transmitters; it works with the APSL801 pneumatic fully-automatic piston gauge (controlling weight raising/lowering and vacuum-pump start/stop) or as a standalone pressure standard, and can integrate a HART function that replaces a HART communicator (setting/calibrating transmitter range, forcing output current to fixed values such as 20/12/4 mA, linear or square-root functions, and HART zeroing).

It weighs 19 kg with dimensions 200 (H) × 400 (D) × 500 (W) mm, current input (1-2) channels (0-22) mA, DC 24 V/30 mA loop supply (mis-connection will not damage a standard gauge), M20×1.5 female quick connectors, φ4 banana jacks, φ6 mm drain port, working environment -5 °C to 50 °C, with optional automatic verification software (connectable to TMMS-2000 for auto data recording and report printing) and optional external standard gauge.

1. Overview

The ultra-high-pressure (hydraulic) version is a new-generation pressure controller with accuracy up to 0.02% of reading (2 parts in 10,000). It can independently verify general pressure gauges, precision pressure gauges, pressure transmitters, pressure regulating valves, pressure switches and digital pressure gauges, and can also be connected to a fully automatic or manual piston (dead-weight) gauge, where accuracy reaches 0.005% (5 parts in 100,000).

Built-in patented filtering/blow-down valve device (Patent No. 201720241592.5), eliminating regular pipeline cleaning and facilitating maintenance.
