Fully Automatic Blood Pressure Simulator Calibration Device

Overview

The APSL507 Fully Automatic Non-Invasive Blood Pressure Monitor Calibration Device works on the principle that pulse signals detected through the cuff are amplified and transmitted to obtain the pulse-wave oscillation waveform, from which blood-pressure values are calculated. By simulating different pulse waves under various cuff-pressure states, it reproduces human blood-pressure values.

It applies to blood-pressure detection using step deflation and step inflation, and to devices that measure blood pressure by the oscillometric method. When an external buffer (cuff) is connected, it can test blood-pressure monitors using multiple measurement methods—such as those detecting the pulse during pressurization, or detecting the pulse during pressurization and continuous deflation.

Features include dynamic BP simulation for arm-type and wrist-type cuff monitors; a built-in air pump for high/low-pressure deflation checks, leak checks and pressure-source supply; a built-in child cuff allowing direct testing of NIBP monitors without an external cuff; a high-accuracy pressure sensor; pressure-calibration capability; integration of the JJG692-2010 standard for guided one-flow verification; systolic simulation up to 280 mmHg; and a body smaller than A4 paper at just 1.4 kg.
