Gas Piston Pressure Gauge

Overview

Product Overview

The HSLQ Gas Piston Pressure Gauge is a high-accuracy pressure standard instrument working on the principle of hydrostatic equilibrium of fluid (the fluid pressure acting on the effective piston area balances the gravity of the loaded mass). It generally consists of a piston system, special weights and a pressure calibrator. Corresponding gas source, vacuum pump (for absolute and negative pressure measurement) and vacuum hood (for absolute pressure measurement) are also required.

Adopting high-purity nitrogen as working medium, the instrument generates smaller additional error caused by low medium viscosity during measurement. It further improves piston sensitivity, reduces fluctuation of output pressure value and achieves better repeatability. Meanwhile, it is more convenient for calibrating oil-free instruments.

Product Features

High-purity nitrogen is adopted as the working medium. The lower viscosity of the medium brings smaller additional error during measurement, further improving piston sensitivity, lowering fluctuation of output pressure and offering superior repeatability.

Both piston rod and piston cylinder are made of tungsten carbide. Featuring high strength, high hardness and low linear thermal expansion coefficient, the material enhances piston wear resistance and extends service life.

The piston features long rotation duration and low friction between cylinder and rod, delivering more accurate output pressure values.

Real-time system pressure display is available for users to intuitively observe pressurization and depressurization speed (optional function).

Liquid crystal display shows the change of piston working position for intuitive observation.

Hanging basket structure ensures low center of gravity and excellent stability.

Weights have been corrected according to pressure deformation coefficient and local gravitational acceleration.

All specifications fully comply with national metrological verification regulations JJG1086-2013 Gas Piston Pressure Gauges and JJG99-2006 Weights. A Verification Certificate can be issued for each unit.
