Liquid Piston Pressure Gauge

Overview

Product Overview

The HSLY Liquid Piston Pressure Gauge is a high-accuracy pressure standard, a measuring instrument that implements pressure measurement based on the principle of hydrostatic equilibrium (the fluid pressure acting on the effective piston area balances the gravity of loaded weights). It generally consists of a piston system, dedicated weights and a pressure calibrator.

Class 0.05; Class 0.02; Class 0.01; Class 0.005

Piston System Material

Piston rod: Tungsten carbide

Piston cylinder: Tungsten carbide

Weight Material

Carbon steel (Class 0.05); Non-magnetic stainless steel (Class 0.02; Class 0.01; Class 0.005)

Working Medium

Mixture of transformer oil & kerosene or sebacate ester

Overall Dimension

Length × Width × Height (660 × 500 × 450) mm

Product Features

Both piston rod and piston cylinder are made of tungsten carbide. Featuring high strength, high hardness and low linear thermal expansion coefficient, the material enhances piston wear resistance and extends service life.

The piston system adopts modular design; only the module needs to be unscrewed for re-verification, without transporting the heavy main unit.

Large color LCD clearly displays the change of piston working position. The front panel of the housing is chamfered, making reading easier than the traditional vertical panel; the tabletop is stainless steel, delivering attractive appearance and stronger impact resistance.

The piston is equipped with a blow-down system, allowing contaminated oil inside the oil cup to be directly drained via the drain port.

The pressurizing system is reliable, lightweight and durable.

The high-pressure piston weight assembly adopts hanging-basket structure, which creates low center of gravity and excellent stability.

Equipped with quick pressure connectors; two devices under test can be calibrated simultaneously with zero oil leakage.

All specifications fully comply with national metrological verification regulations JJG59-2007 Piston Pressure Gauges and JJG99-2006 Weights. A Verification Certificate can be issued for each unit.
